Angela Trillo

Chair Co-Founder

Angela Milagrito Trillo en tres palabras: «Productiva, Decidida y Leal».

Angela Milagrito Trillo in three words: "Productive, Determined, and Loyal" Angela has a combined work history of more than 25 years in Marketing and Sales, 12 years in Entrepreneurship, 10 years in banking and 18 years coaching, training and development. Angela is fluent in three languages (English, Spanish, and Italian). She has strong communication skills which help in her public speaking events including topics like Motivational Leadership. Angela graduated with the highest honors from the Marketing Institute in Venezuela, obtaining a degree in Marketing with a minor in Sales. Additionally, she obtained an Associate's Degree in Arts from Broward College in Florida, also with the highest honors. Finally, she moved to Memphis in the Summer of 2012, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management at The University of Memphis in May 2014

After graduating in 2014, Angela began her career with Bank of America in June 2014 as a Personal Banker, then transition into a Mortgage Loan Officer, then a Small Business Relationship Manager and she is currently the Corporate Employee Banking and Investment Relationship Manager for the market of Memphis and part of Nashville. Angela is a founder member and Chair of the Amigo Community Center of the Mid-South, an active Board member of CasaLuz, Score Mentor and President of the Mid-South Latino Chamber of Commerce.

Angela is constantly working in creating positive ways to impact hundreds of Hispanic and Latino people in the community with her volunteer work. Angela recently retired as a Girl Scout leader after 10 years of service, including the role of Service Unit Manager for the Germantown Area, she was also responsible for founding the first Girl Scout Spanish Club in the West Tennessee region. Angela's devotion to the advancement of her community was recognized when she was awarded multiple times with the White House President's Volunteer Service Award and named to the Bank of America Volunteer Honor Roll for 9 years in a row, and also in 2023 Angela received the Bank of America Global Volunteer Award for her community development support, which is one of the most distinguished awards in the Bank Globally.

Finally, last year DeNeuville Learning Center for Women chose Angela as their Honorary Chair for their 25th anniversary Gala. She has an Italian Heritage from both of her parents, but she was born and raised in Venezuela, South America. Currently, she lives in Cordova, TN. with her loved ones.

Januelys Isea

President Co-Founder

Januelys Isea is an experienced attorney with a Master's in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Carabobo, Venezuela. Her career in public administration spans over fifteen years, beginning as a lawyer before advancing to a Director of Binding. She has also shared her knowledge as a university lecturer in "Theory of the State."

After moving to the United States in 2016, Januelys worked in administrative roles, nonprofit area and as an Immigration Forms Specialist at Latin Global Services LLC for many years. She is a founding member and the President of the Amigo Community Center of the Mid-South and serves as the Executive Director of Latin Global Services.

Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her completion of courses in Open Government Strategies and Sustainable Public Procurement from the Organization of American States (OAS) in 2020.

Alex Matlock

Vice president

Alexandra Matlock, originally from Colombia, South America, moved to The United States in 1992 and she has been living in Memphis, TN since 2005. Since then, she has been involved directly with the Latino community at first as the Operations Manager of La Prensa Latina, then as businesswoman and civic leader with a passion for building stronger communities and empowering clients to reach their goals. She has served on several boards and committees throughout the city, some of her involvements include the Mid-South Food Bank, board member of United Housing, Leadership Memphis, The BBB of the Mid-South, Memphis Music Foundation, former member of the Multicultural coalition of Mayor Jim Strickland, alumna of 2013 Leadership Memphis Executive Class and earned the Memphis Elite Eleven Award, presented to 11 women for their commitment to making the difference in the community. She is the co-founder of the Mid-South Latino Chamber of Commerce and current chairperson. She serves in the Governance Board for St. Francis Hospital. Currently, Alexandra works for Simmons Bank as Mortgage Loan Originator, and she is leading the programs for the Latino community.

Miguel Ángel Rosales Esser

Miguel Ángel Rosales Esser nació y se crió en Barquisimeto-Venezuela. Cuenta con una trayectoria laboral combinada de más de 8 años en Gestión y ventas de alimentos para consumo masivo humano y animal en su país natal, y en los últimos 5 años se ha dedicado al diagnóstico y estimación de equipos médicos. Domina dos idiomas (inglés, español), tiene sólidas habilidades de capacitación grupal y liderazgo. Completó sus estudios universitarios en la distinguida Universidad de Los Andes en la ciudad de Mérida-Venezuela, graduándose con una Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas. Actualmente, Miguel es Supervisor de Producción y Estimación de Olympus of America, donde se ha desarrollado y capacitado en el mundo de los dispositivos médicos y quirúrgicos. Miguel es miembro y tesorero del Centro Comunitario Amigo del Medio Sur.

Alexandra Feliciano

Alexandra Feliciano is a bilingual Human Resources and Talent Development Consultant with 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been residing in Olive Branch, Mississippi since 2020. Alexandra holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources and a master's degree in Operations Management. She began her career as a Human Resources Professional in Puerto Rico and has since worked for Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric and The Hershey Company. Currently, she runs her own Human Resources consultancy, supporting leaders and business owners in transforming their teams and enhancing their organizations.

Alexandra is a certified LEGO Serious Play Facilitator by the Association of Master Trainers and an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. A lover of coffee, nature, traveling, and learning about new cultures, she is deeply passionate about education, development, and helping others succeed.

An eternal learner herself, Alexandra thrives on creating transformative moments for individuals, teams and organizations.

Guy Delahoussaye

Guy Delahoussaye is a retired US Navy officer and educator, and has spent much of his 30-plus year career advocating for student learning, training and development. He currently teaches citizen development to high school students in the NJROTC Program and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Memphis, where he studies Higher and Adult Education Administration. His research interests focus on adult student access and advising, student veteran issues, and transitions through pivotal life events.

Patricio Sotomayor

Meet Pato, aka Patricio David Sotomayor Moreira! He's your go-to guy for all things business, with a knack for international affairs, thanks to his alma mater, Universidad Internacional del Ecuador. From overseeing construction projects to running his own restaurant back home, Pato's done it all.

Now based in Memphis, TN, he's part of the crew at Patrick Accounting and Whirks, where he helps businesses navigate the financial and people complexities.

Beyond his professional endeavors, his commitment extends to making a positive impact on people's lives and contributing meaningfully to society.

Gilberto Jaimes

Member

Born at the Colombian -Venezuelan Andes in a diplomatic family with both parents with strong indigenous lineage to both North and South America; his primary and high school where in Haiti and the Dominican Republic at international schools in English, French and Spanish simultaneously. In the Dominican Republic he founded the College magazine “El Pensador” and wrote approximately 30 articles on international law in “La Noticia”. In 1992 Gilberto arrived at Caracas with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Law, Diplomacy and International Services from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, there he enter his studied for a Master in Oil and Energy Procedures and a specialization in the Convention of the Law of the Sea and the New International Order, while entering to the Diplomatic School Pedro Gual and started to follow his father’s steps in the Venezuelan Foreign Services.

In 2009 he was transferred to Caracas where he was Head of Division for Ocean Affairs, Law of the Sea and Antarctic Affairs and was representative to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. Responsible for the Affairs concerning: Marine Biological Diversity in Antarctica and Beyond Areas of National Jurisdiction; UNESCO Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage; and the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf. Former delegate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Oceanological and Antarctic Studies Center of Venezuela. Expeditionary on Scientific Campaigns to the Brazilian Amazon in 2012, Bird Island in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014; and to the Antarctic Continent in 2013 and 2014. Former Head of Delegation of the seventh Venezuelan Expedition to the Antarctic Continent. 2014 Former Head of the Venezuelan Delegation at the 37th Consultative Meeting of the Antarctic Treaty in Brazil. May 2014.

In 2015 the Venezuelan political atmosphere got worse and because of his dual citizenship he encounters a terrible political difficulty and had to return to the United States. In the US he resides in Memphis, TN, he has worked in the health area another passion of his life for 7 years in places such as Express Scripts/Novartis, Raleigh Group Pediatrics and at present at the Shelby County Health Department as a Public Health Coordinator at the Office of Performance. He is a Member of the Parish Pastoral Council at St. William Catholic Church (present) and a Knight of Columbus Third Degree. (present). He is an active director in the following: Tu Salud Advisory Board; Chair at the Domain 1 for the SCHD Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and an active member at Amigo Community Center.

Ana Margarita Gales

Ana Margarita Wales, Senior Tax Analyst with 22 years of experience working with HR BLOCK. Ana Margarita specializes in small business taxes and ITIN numbers. I enjoyed using my skills to help others. I am a notary public for the state of Tennessee.

I live in Memphis, TN and am originally from El Salvador. In 2021 I received the Henry Bloch Excellent Customer Service Award.

I have been an ICT Instructor for more than 10 years and I am currently a mentor for New Tax Professionals.
